Does anyone know what this is called?
We have several that were growing when we moved here, but we have no idea what they are.

The plant gets over two feet high, and those long leaves are a very dark green/purple. The central stalk has many dozens of tiny white flowers.

It reminds me of Yucca, but not quite. Maybe it's some kind of variety of it though? I have a few Yuccas in my yard. However, their leaves tend to be green with a hint of blue/silver, and the center stalk, which gets the little flowers, will sometimes get 5-6 feet tall.

No, we also have yuccas, but this is nothing like that.

A zoomed view of the flowers might help.

The leaves look like our bromeliads but I've never seen those flowers before.

You might want to send a PM to Martha. She's been a big help with plant ID from determining its characteristics and looking it up in an image library.

It looks like an Eucomis (pineapple lily) of some variety. They have strap-like leaves, grow about 2-3' tall.
