App for Text Messaging Birthday Card Etc

I'm looking for FREE App for sending text messages (video/cards) to Birthday friends. Does anyone have a good App that is simple and easy to pick and send in a text.

Not gonna suggest one because the recipient may be spammed continuously with emails. Happened to me. Still getting spam emails from the company from a card sent last year.
