Help with Google Earth?

Trying to download/open some .kmz files from the GE website, I get the error msg

"...something.kmz could not be opened, because the associated helper application does not exist. Change the association in your preferences."

I've checked the associations in Windoze, the file types .kmz and .kml are already associated with GE.

Any ideas?

While we're at it, have any cool things to share?

Try completely deleting GE, including the directories, and re-install. That should force the program to re-establish it's relationships.
