I'm looking for a new food vacuum sealer to replace my current one.
The one I currently have is a Foodsaver brand from a few years back. (Model Vac 900) It's convenient (has a built in bag cutter and roll holder). The only problem is it doesn't hold a seal that well.
The reviews on Amazon on the more recent Foodsaver models aren't that good, plus they seem to get more complicated and expensive.
I'm also considering a Seal-a-meal (Walmart carries them), but I haven't tried them before.
Do you have any recommendations on brands/models you've had experience with?
