Working in Seatle(60's) - I heard 'arm pit of Huntsville' and 'pesthole of New Orleans' from space program transfers.

In New Orleans in the 70's - grey gloomy rainy Seattle, grumpy dour Yankee's from space program transfers.

heh heh heh heh - I had the South stereotyped before I got there. And stayed thiry years. New Orleans is 'different'.
