Saniflo macerating units...pumpin $h** up-hill!

Any experience with a Saniflo or similar macerating/grinding unit? I'm building a bathroom sub-grade, and out discharge for all sewage is at a height of 6 ft...thus I need to pump the solid waste up-hill.


I'm looking at the Saniplus or SaniBest...for the $100 difference I think the SaniBEST makes sense...but I'm curious about other's experiences....or if there's another competitively priced brand out there.....


I need the ability to tie in a sink and shower to the pump.

I've been considering putting a Saniflow in our basement. The wife is not enthusiastic about my plan. It probably didn't help when I told her "Look Dear! It has a poop blender that grinds it up so it can be pumped out!"
