Perhaps a bit rad for some tastes, but please post your faves anyway;)

Freedom has many facets...

Freedom means different things at different stages in life, too. Here's one joyful song about freedom that really resonated with me, after the pain of my 1998 divorce:

A more general interpretation, but its the first song (second one in the video, but the first applies too) that came to mind.

Senior Year finals are over. Put your speakers in the window of your dorm room and crank it up!

Martina McBride - Independence Day

Ahhhh, 1969, the year that I learned the freedom to question things. Here's that feeling in one song. And some awesome jazz musicians to boot.

Compared to What?

Freaking awesome. Bumping in case anyone missed it.

My personal freedom song

Worth a bump. One of the radio stations I listened to in the 70's played that occasionally. Loved and had not heard it in a long time - it is awesome. On a re-listen, I'm struck by how much Traffic seemed to be inspired by that piano/sax sound. Their song "Glad" and a few others .

Maybe it´s not a "freedom" song but I like it: Take It Easy by The Eagles.
