Texting while Walking - Oops

A few weeks ago we were driving home one night. It was on a 2 lane road close to our place and I said to my wife and son, "Look at that idiot with a death wish, riding his bicycle without any lights and dressed all in black". I pulled out to overtake and as we drew close my son pointed out that he did indeed have a light showing. It was the illumination from his phone as he was texting.

As an introvert I know this is easy for me to say, but reading these stories, the thought that comes to mind is that there is such a thing as too much connection.
