My question.....if i get a "to go" order from that Mexican restaurant, should I give a tip and if so, how much?

If you go and pick it up, (short answer sans explanation/rationale) no.
If it's delivered, definitely. Amount depends on size of order, distance, traffic/weather, timeliness....

Your list [Vegas tip mongers] made me laugh as I was just out there. I go out there enough to have learned to by pass most of them, by avoiding their services.

+1. We don't do Vegas, but we've done a few Indian casinos. Dealers and waiters/waitresses, and IME, many people way overtip. We watched and added it up a couple times, and some of those folks make more (hourly) than DW did at megacorp.
