What's a good, free, PDF file editor?

I'm looking for something I can use one or 2 times/year to edit pd

I've been using it for years to print files to PDF. It's free and easy. Once you install it, PDF995 will show up as one of your printer options.
 
I use one that is pretty good for my purposes.  I will have to send info later.  I am moving at the moment and not on my own machine.  There are many pdf editors out there and only some of them are any good.  I bought a highly touted one and was disappointed.  The free version of another commercial one is what I use now.  What I wanted to do was edit some crap out of an e-book that I bought.

OK, I am back on-line. Sorry for the wait.

I have used this Foxit PDF editor satisfactorily for my purposes. It is freeware but puts a watermark (up in the top corner?) on the edited page.

I have noticed that some things callled "PDF editors" seem to be only PDF file creators.
