Cool. Almost the same yield as a money market with twice the work and no checking priviliges.

You should check out Treasury Direct - extreamly easy.

Also, the Fed Gov't interest income might not be taxable by your state government.

A 4% Treasury Bill yield equals 4.28% equilivent yield of a taxable instrument.
