Anyone Familiar with these Books?

Now that I am one month past FIRE, I am looking into planning an asset draw-down sequence. I have been reading the threads on the subject and a couple of books were mentioned. That led me to Amazon and I saw a couple others. Do any of you have any input on whether these are worth the trouble of trying to get from library or worth buying?

"Can I Retire Yet?" by Darrin Kirkpatrick

"Money for Life" by Steve Vernon

"The New Retirementality" by Mitch Anthony

"Retirement Income Redesigned" by Harold Evansky. One thread mentioned this one and said that it was very detailed and possibly a little out of date given the low interest environment that has occurred since the book was written in 2006 or so.

I have read (2) of the books you mention, Darrin Kirkpatricks, and Mitch Anthony.
Both (IMHO) were excellent books to read. Darrin has a website (Can I Retire Yet? - Save More - Invest Smarter - Retire Sooner) that you can take a look at. He covers a lot of the website information in his book. I read Mitch Anthony's book shortly after being laid off from Megacorp, and it just gave me an interesting perspective on retirement.

I have not read the books but I suggest that you read the negative reviews on Amazon. I do not find the positive reviews to be useful most of the time. Other people can like something for reasons that do not apply to me. I find that I can evaluate a book or an item better by the reasons that others did not like it.

rpguy4, I went to the Kirkpatrick web site and have read a lot of the articles today. Thanks for pointing me to it. I read the article discussed in the thread you mentioned before I saw your post. In the thread there was mention of an article supposedly proving that ROTH conversions are pointless. I will look for that to see why he says that.

I will try to take a look at the bogleheads link tomorrow. I think I may have bookmarked it a day or two ago.

I will add these books to the list that I will try to get from the library. Supposedly they can get books by some inter-library loan system. In the past I have just bought books but now that I have time to read them fast the library can probably save me some money.
