Retiring July 4 (Independence Day), how cool is that?

Turn 60 on June 28.

Target AA: 60% equity funds / 35% bond funds / 5% cash
Target WR: Approx 2.5% Approx 20% SI (secure income, SS only)

Thanks for all the nice replys. No doubt that some of the retirement planning info on this forum contributed to my decision. I hope that I can return the favor by sharing experience that I gain in the critical early years of my retirement.

I jumped in March 02 of this year. It will be interesting to see how it works for those of us retiring in the current financial world. (Didn't use the 'R' word)
