The financial planner who consulted with me about Asset Allocation matters for the Work Less Live More books is profiled in today's WSJ - page R6 -- Taming the Wildness by Shefali Anand. Tom Orecchio goes into detail on one of his mid-range asset allocations/portfolios, including specific percentages of individual funds within each category, something people often ask about.

It is a roughly 50% Stocks, 50% Bonds and Other asset allocation. Not the same as the ones in the books, but clearly a cousin and possibly better suited to someone still working. 10.4% Rate of Return (vs 5.9% for the S&P) with 65% of the S&Ps volatility over the last 10 years.
