On The Road Again # - Mt. Belford - Thinking about phases of RE

I'm not going to bore you with the details of this hike - 9 hrs round trip and I was dead. I met a guy who was doing 1 14er per day - he was a marathon runner.

Along the way I was thinking about the phases of RE. I thought I knew them but I'm learning more - Think about it.

I'll start a thread about it where you can add your thoughts.

I'm going to do a little mountain biking tomorrow.

love the parnoramic views in large format on your link. what a great way to fit such large scenes into such little cameras. you did some nice pics too. it almost looks like the clouds are trying to mimic the mountains. or is it the other way around?

I just pick a spot to stand and then move until a point in the right side of the viewfinder is on the left. Also I start to take pictures on the way down so I don't ruin my hiking rythm or the experience.

You day will come - just do it early enough. I think I've been the oldest person on the three 14er hikes I did - I had to attempt Yale twice!
