I currently have my small cruising sailboat on a lake near Dallas, we are now seeing the lake level rise so I should be able to get her out of the lake, for the last few months she has been high and dry!

Now that we are both retired I am wanting to put her back in salt water, so am looking for any recommendations of marinas on the Texas Gulf Coast. She is 27ft overall and draws 4.5 ft.

Thanks in advance.

My only knowledge is that one sis and BIL owned a 45ft sailboat....

But, there are many places along the gulf coast... and many marinas at most of those locations...

You will have to narrow down what you want in location and what you are willing to pay...

I don't know the marinas in your area but I do advise taking your boat to a yard for cleanup and maintenance before launching it again. To assure you don't get taken advantage of hire a marine surveyor to give your trusty vessel a through check-up, then decide what to fix.

You could get some good responses by posting your question on either Cruiser's Forum or Trawler Forum.
