I hit an old age brick wall this year.

Anyone else dealing with this...

Looking for ideas besides taking Tylenol all day..

TIA

Yoga classes were the only thing that helped me.
Much less pain, not to mention better flexibility.
My mom, of all people, convinced me to take classes.

Stretching and non-weightbearing exercise (i.e. bicycling, swimming)

My arthritic knee pain decreased much after I retired and didn't have to spend all day on those concrete floors. I've also lost a lot of weight.

Not yet, but I'm looking ahead to the day my knees run out of cartilage.

An orthopedic surgeon told me:
- weigh as little as possible
- stretch every day
- weight-bearing low-impact exercise can help
- massage can help
- ibuprofen, naproxen, and a couple dozen other (prescription) medications can relieve the pain. He said some of his patients have worked through the entire list over the course of a few years in order to find the right combination of relief without side effects.

Aloe Vera juice (available at wally world) ... 1 oz twice daily...we use light cranberry juice to flavor it. After about 2 mos, joint pain is greatly reduced or gone.

How about Joint Juice?? :D
