<sigh> Just had a follow-up surgery on Tuesday morning (all went well), so another two weeks of no exercise. It is so hard for me to restrain myself from eating when under stress...obviously! I'm digging my heels in, though. You know it's serious when you get out the tablespoon to measure the mayo for your sandwich. Weighing, measuring, counting calories...hate it! And next week is Thanksgiving at mother-in-law's where all food is ridiculously calorific...and we'll be stuck there several days, limited to whatever food is in her fridge. I may just have to make my own grocery store run.

I've seen those bandages they use and they probably weigh five pounds plus deduct another two pounds if you have a drain and you are at 123 . Right on target !

Stick with it SG, only 2 weeks to go before you can exercise again. The time will soon pass.

I really don't feel as if I've lost 5# in one week - maybe 1# - so I believe the gain last week really was water retention/swelling/something related to my surgery. Either way, very happy I did not stay 130#!!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone...already thinking about next week's weigh in after eating my mother-in-law's food for the next couple days. LOL

Started using the Concept2 daily last week so didn't expect to show any loss (starting heavier easier often results in some fluid retention). So, staying the same was OK

Happy to have maintained after Thanksgiving and several days at the in-laws! MIL actually recently went on Weight Watchers, so she used less butter and had more salad options, etc. Yahoo! I still had some bad goodies, for sure, but at least I had some healthy options to help out.
