So my beach weekend only partially undid my prior week's weight loss. I'll take that, considering how much I ate and drank, I deserve it!

This is my one year anniversary since I started the big diet last year after my cruise. Still down a total of 9#. Happy with that, but not happy about the few pounds I put on over the holidays and haven't been able to really get back off consistently this spring. Would LOVE to get back into the teens...gonna try really hard over the next month!

The whole moving thing has really made it tough to concentrate on food and exercise. I've been battling my personal Mendoza line recently, and around 6 weeks back I was around 205. So 199 today isn't too bad.

Getting down into the lower 190's is going to be a lot of work, though...
 
Well I gained a pound this week due to some cheating so back to work on my goal . 6 pounds to go . My Mom will be here this week and I'll have to give her carbs and still avoid them . It's going to be a hard week !

Back home after a 5 week vacation. Very pleased to see that all the hiking in the mountains offset the extra time eating out and I maintained my weight.

Off to England in a week or 2 for at least 2 months so that will be a bigger challenge.

Nice job, everyone. You did good on your vacays, Freebird and Alan.

Simplegirl, those handful of lbs. that you go up and down are so tiny--and you probably looked okay to other people a year ago at 9lbs. more, so you get my most respectful bow of the day for paying attention to those lbs. and keeping them off!

When (not if haha) I reach my 25 lb. down goal, most people will thnk I look just fine too, but I'll be setting another 25 lb. goal rather than being complacent at being a little heavier than I feel best at. I hope the WeightWatchers scale will be kind to me tomorrow!

Another good Weight Watchers week:

Goal beginning 4/22: -25 lbs.
4/29, week 1, -4.6 lbs.: -4.6 lbs. total
5/6, week 2, -2.6 lbs: -7.2 lbs. total
5/13, week 3, -3.2 lbs.: -10.4 lbs. total
5/20, week 4, -1.6 lbs.: -12 lbs. total
5/27, week 5, -1 lb.: -13 lbs. total

Officially more than halfway to my goal of losing 25 lbs. Yay!

It was a pretty inactive week other than 9 holes of golf and dancing at a wedding. So this week I'm going to walk while I listen to an audiobook.

Great result, well done.

If you are walking on streets while listening to your audibooks, do take care about traffic, you probably rely on your hearing far more than you realize in those situations :)

I would never listen to audiobooks while streetwalking:D

I am very very careful when walking, and my books are so boring that they aren't even distracting.

Didn't weigh in this week, due to a mad scramble Tuesday morning to get our lives back in order after a weekend away. I've also had cake this week, and today start test-baking pastries for a cookbook (not mine, not paid, for fun). This means more baked goodies in our house this weekend.

So off to the gym I go, munchkins in tow! (Love the childcare center there....)

These darn scales of mine are a little on the flaky side. First time I stepped on them it read 182. Didn't think that was right so weighed 3 more times and came in at 180. So I will go with that. Probably need to buy the digital kind.:(
