Not good...obviously on an upward trend here. We had friends in for a long weekend (Thurs thru Tues) and ate out almost EVERY meal. Had drinks pretty much every day, too. So waddaya expect? Back to my real diet today - can't let the trend continue...
 
You guys are ALL smart to stay on top of your statistics, whether up or down--it was ignoring them that got me into trouble time and again with magical thinking (e.g., a scoop of Ben and Jerry's is about the size of a small orange, and oranges aren't fattening, so ergo--Ben and Jerry's it is!). So you know where you're at.

I'll post tomorrow--I've been faithful to WeightWatchers this week but I never know what the scale will say.

Weight Watchers scale again kind to me this morning.

Goal beginning 4/22: -25 lbs.
4/29, Week 1, -4.6 lbs.: -4.6 lbs. total
5/6, Week 2, -2.6 lbs: -7.2 lbs. total
5/13, week 3, -3.2 lbs: -10.4 lbs. total
 
Great going guys, especially BWE, a 10.4 lb loss already, almost half way to your goal. :clap:

Well it is not Wednesday but it is post back to back vacation weigh in and considering that one of the vacations was an eight day cruise I was pretty scared . I only gained one pound so I'm thrilled . I think the two long walks through tropical rain forests helped plus we walked constantly on the cruise .I ate more than normal on the cruise but I did not overeat so I think that saved me .

Congratulations. I bet you were delighted when you saw the weight. DW and I were saying yesterday that we are dreading the scales when we get back from our month long vacation next week. We are getting in lots of walks and hikes but we both don't feel that's enough to overcome the extra calories - the cafe 5 doors from us is just so darn good!!!

We have proved the old adage that the best way to train for walking up steep hills is to walk up steep hills :LOL:
 
Alan, I bet you and the missus will be fine--although the cafe will miss you!

Moe, that is wonderful! Just one lb.? Way to go!
 
Had my Weight Watchers weigh-in today and I'm down five pounds from last week, for a total of 30 lbs since I started at WW (and 38 since I started on my own last October). Woot!

To celebrate, I went to Macy's and pulled a huge stack of pretty spring dresses off the racks. Guess what? I'm down a dress size, too, and had to go back out for the next size down. AND I can wear styles that I couldn't wear before (semi-fitted sheaths, to be precise).Whoo-hoo!

I then bought three. So I also did my part for the economic recovery. And now I have clothes to wear, since I'm finding my wardrobe-that-fits to be shrinking along with me.

Feeling pretty good today. Congrats to all of us for sticking with it, even through weeks of equilibrium (my 5 lbs follows three weeks of just sorta stuck at the same spot).

Unlike simple girl, didn't kick it into high gear, but I am starting to do that TODAY! I SWEAR!!!! I've been eating fine, but busy work week means I didn't exercise Monday or Tuesday. I did just get back from the gym, though.

1/1/10: 133 (start of diet)
3/15/10: 124 (just before vacation)
4/20/10: 124

:dance::dance:Well I weighed in again today and I lost the pound I gained on the cruise plus another pound and a half . Four and a half pounds to my goal ! When I reach it I may try for four more pounds . Boy is my doctor going to be shocked when I go to see him in two weeks !
 
I haven't posted here for quite awhile. I had a setback from my broken foot from 2 years ago.
