Medicare increase gives me $186/year more money

I've been in the $115 club for almost a year and was expecting an increase in Medicare premium in 2012. Now I read that my premium cost will be reduced $15.50 each month.

What a country!

Indeed, baby boomers who signed up for Medicare this year and were paying $115.40 a month will save $15.50 a month next year, an annual total of $186.

I'm a couple of months away from my first Medicare deduction form my SS check, so this is a pleasant surprise. I'd budgeted $120/mo for next year...

DW and I both began Medicare in 2010, so that's $372 that will remain in our house.

In addition, Megacorp reduced the cost of my retiree Medicare supplement for 2012.
