Mother Passed Away

She was able to stay at home through her long illness.

It was a difficult ordeal due to the nature of her illness, but somehow we siblings managed to work out a care program in the home environment.


Thank goodness for organizations like Hospice.

We lost MIL in January. Fortunately it was a short (3 months) decline. Now dealing with the estate, probate, relatives et al. Dismantling a life is the hardest part emotionally. We feel your pain chinaco!

You and your siblings did a good thing in working out a plan to allow Mom to pass at home. This was truly a great gift for her and I imagine we all want the same treatment if possible. "A clear conscience makes a soft pillow". Sorry you have to go thru this.

at the airport on the return trip from burying my mom my brother said to me, "everyone goes through this. we just got it out of the way." it was a little irreverent but very true.
