Sad news...he was only 52. Hope he had a chance to enjoy his success. My step-father died at 46 of same thing. Reminds me of another reason to FIRE.

He was obviously successful, and had dreams for some sort of FIRE, at some point. He was probably in great shape, as you sort of have to be to play soccer.

It does make a person think how valuable time is.

Unless he wasn't in such good shape and the soccer game did him in.

I remember a few years ago at a family gathering and playing touch football trying to catch my nephew who darted past me. My heart was pounding and for a while thought I was gonna die from a heart attack. From that day forward, any touch football games, I'll volunteer only as a QB without all the running.
