Word for Apple 7

Is there an app I can install free to open and read Word Documents? I was able to open them and now I can't. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

I don't know what Apple 7 is, but Apple's version of Word is PAGES. Check the Applications to find it.

Apple’s word processor app Pages reads Word files. Two open source office suite apps, Libreoffice and OpenOffice, run on Apple, Windows and Linux computers. Both of these open source suites are free to download and incorporate word processors that open and read Word documents. Do an internet search to find the download site.
