Are any of you folks familiar with Aliotos(spelling) on pier 39 in Frisco?

Great restaurant overlooking the bay!!!! I have not been there in 15 years but boy will i make sure to go there when i am back in San Fran!!!!


excellent chowder and steaks....never had the seafood but i'll bet it is top notch!!!! anyone been there as of late? Thanks in advance!

I haven't been there in years, but according to their website they're still there.

I've walked by this place more times that I would like to admit and always assumed it was just another touristy place on the wharf. Sounds like I need to give it a shoot the next time I'm out that way (probably within the next couple of months).

Haven't been to SF for quite a few years (now that I am RE). Used to go for business a lot and would take DW with. Last 2 times we went to Aliotos, it was GREAT. Seafood great, as well as views. Be sure to go upstairs. DW liked it ... and yes it's a bit touristy... but what isn't in that town?

For starters, try Fort Mason, adjacent to the Wharf, or take the nearby "stairway walks."
