Time square sure looks a lot different then it did 20 years ago.

(nice pics, BTW)

its amazing , most of 7th ave and broadway is closed in spots up to 48th st and tables and chairs are acually in the raods where cars once drove...

the lcd screens make for incredible colors ....

Math: If by point and shoot you mean a cheap disposable camera.....
They are really nice and crisp shots!!

ha ha ha no this isnt a disposable camera ... its a canon sd880.. they sell for 250,00 bucks or so.

the point was if you have ever seen any of our posted work its all done with pretty much pro stuff and everyone always asks what camera do i use to get those great looking pics.

i always say its not the camera, its the lighting, the composition and the post processing.

so we were in nyc the other day and left the pro gear home. we took a little pocket size camera, typical of the type everyone kind of uses today and set off to show how its not about having expensive camera gear to get great shots

Did you get to visit Central Park? It's pretty interesting. I spent a year hanging around the southern end when I was 18 giving carriage rides. Some of the rides were fun and interesting. Some were scary. I was an 18 year old hick from upstate. Did you know that during the early '70s some of the foot policemen would smoke pot in the carriages in uniform with their gun strapped on? That was an eye-opener for me.
