I introduced myself a while ago. Last week I turned in my notice and will retire effective July 2nd (at 52). It's kind of scary and exciting all at the same time, but I'm confident that we are in good shape. It's just so hard to walk away from a good paycheck.
I appreciated everyone's advice from my original post and DW and I have decided not to invest in another home. After running all the numbers we were concerned that it would change our spending profile significantly and wasn't worth it.
