Hi, I am 'almost'...

retired... today was the Christmas party with the 63 people I oversee.. Tomorrow-Friday will be brutally slow with little to do but be a scarecrow...last day is Monday.

I told everyone in advance and again today that even as the VP/GM, I want the same treatment we give to people who are moving on to other markets and jobs.... a break room sendoff with one of those giant chocolate chip cookies and some Dr Pepper....nothing special just because I'm the boss. We have 2 young folks moving on at the end of the year and the 3 of us will share the break room party.

So ready to go.... counting the hours.... loved the job and the people, but damn it, it's time to go.
