Is there a way to enter a deferred, inflation adjusted annuity in FireCalc? Heres the dilemma (at least I think it is):

I have a deferred annuity that is inflation adjusted, but only after it starts in 2027. If I don't check the inflation adj box, the annuity won't increase with inflation after 2027. If I do check the box, then I believe the $15,000 that will be paid in 2027 will vary with inflation in the years before 2027. Ideally, what I'd like to do is have $15000 fixed until 2027, and then fluctuate with inflation.

Thank you!

[-]I think that you are misinterpreting it.

I think if on the Other Income/Spending tab you put in a pension of $15,000 a year starting in 2027 and check the inflation adjusted box it will include $15,000 of income beginning in 2027 and inflations adjust it for each year thereafter.[/-]

Strike that.... I ran a test and opened up a spreadsheet and it does indeed appear to do what you describe.
