Me, too, please!
I am proud to count myself in the class of 2011.
Took the plunge 2 months ago, as my work was really stressing me out.
Now that the idea that I'm really retired is starting to sink in, I am formulating a routine that will help me to relax and enjoy the world passing before me.
LBYM has always been a fact of life for me and DW, so we expect that our quality of life will not be reduced very much by the lack of a paycheck. No expectation, ( or desire ) for any increased world travel or extravagant expenses.
Still, my calculations ( yes, I used FIRECALC ), indicate that I should be OK, barring any major health or financial crisis. I intend to take my SS benefits right around 63 or 64, and that together with our SWR, should just slightly exceed our budgeted expenses.
This is only my second post, so looking forward to being here on a much more frequent ( maybe even daily ) basis!
