One person (okay, maybe two, you and the Bunny) should not be allowed to have so much fun without sharing it, so thanks!!!!
Stop number 4 was at the Bumpass Hell trailhead, (BHT), 1 1/2 mile flat hike from that location, except for the last 100 foot drop into the thermally active basin, it's the largest concentration of hydrothermal features in the park...it was named after an early settler who severly burned a leg after falling into a boiling pool.. it's a must see!

What a unique name for the settler - Bumpass Hell.
Your theme song should be "On the Road Again"
Mr/Ms purron....How did you know that I love Willy Nelson music... We do love to travel around Northern Califorina...There's so much to see in the north state! Like our camping trip to South Lake Tahoe over the 4th of July.
