Until the Cowboy's market value (#1 franchise) takes a hit, Jerry has no incentive to disengage himself from his role as general manager. I just wish they would have a bad year in terms of merchandise, advertising and ticket sales and then maybe Jerry might get the message. Until then, Cowboys will continue to flounder in mediocrity. Even when Jerry kicks the bucket, you have Steven waiting in the wings, and I have no reason to believe he would be any different.
As for the last season, I was hoping they would lose more games to get higher draft pic, but they'd probably mess that up as well.
As to Romo, and although its always a crapshoot, IMHO, its time for the Cowboys to draft a young QB.
