I'm just know that the one time I use a new starter word that would be the Wordle word for the day. But on the other hand, different starter words could be more entertaining.

Another thought on changing off the starter words. I mentioned that I am a bit superstitious about that after using the same one so often. But assuming none of my possible starter words have already come up, I suppose they are all equally likely to be the Wordle word for the day. But then, I know my prime starter word has not come up while I've been playing (> 200 days) and I am not so sure about the other starter words having come up.

Then again are we sure that a word will not be used multiple times in Wordle? My guess it probably not until they are fully cycled through.

I haven’t seen it in writing anywhere, and NYT could change at any time - but Wordle has not reused any word so far after 437 days. The original list was 2309 words which would take us well into 2027 if NYT continues as is. We do know NYT skipped one word from the original list already.

question for those Wordlers who travel internationally. We live in the US and one of the daily rituals with DW is us doing wordle together (take turns guessing). BUT, I have an 8-day trip to Europe in a couple of weeks, and DW will be back in the states - is the timing of the new wordle based on the time where you are, or is it centralized somehow to GMT or whatever? We have a pretty long streak, and I don't want to break it on a technicality!
