2021 Medicare standard Part B premium is $148.50, up $3.90 from $144.60.
2021 Part B deductible is $203, up from $198.

The 2021 IRMAA income brackets are also in the link below. It starts at $88k/$176k.

The Medigap HD-F/HD-G 'deductible' increases to $2370, up from $2340.

Thanks all for the info.

I recall wondering, back in the day, if HC would be the ruination of my ER. Now, my HC expenses are generally lower than when I was w*rking and definitely lower than the period between ER and MC (up to $10K for the two of us in any given year.)

So, though the numbers have gone up a bit, I still think of MC/MCD as one of those "bargains" I receive for my longevity. YMMV
 
So, when does Medicare notify someone of their premiums for the next year?

DW had a spike in premiums for 2020 because of a sizable capital gains bill in 2018 (house sale). Our 2019 income level dropped well below the threshold before the premiums start to increase, so we're expecting the 2021 premiums to go back to the lowest levels.

DF would get something from SSA in December. Probably early December. It gave both Medicare and SS for the following year since Medicare was deducted from his SS.
