This experiment will cost you $6. You may find it entertaining, possibly even useful. YMMV.

I recently downloaded the Lensa app and fed it 20 recent photos of myself. A few minutes later it produced 100 avatars of me, all rendered by AI (not just by adding some filter). You can tell it's AI because of the strange anomolies. But there are definitely a few that I like and have been using in various places around the 'net, including my current avatar here on E-R! I am including a few comparisons below for a side-by-side analysis (as much as is possible).

If you do this, I have some tips for you to get better results:

1. Try using photos both with and without glasses on.
2. If you are wearing glasses, make sure they are full-framed. Glasses without a frame on the sides/bottom of the lens are very confusing to the AI robot engine.
3. Include a healthy dose of photos where you are smiling, otherwise your avatars will come out quite stern! (ask me how I know)
4. Don't expect perfection. It seems to struggle with the eyes, specifically roundness and centering of the iris and pupil.
