Applying Medicare on the phone?

My birthday is in January so on 10/1/20, I am eligible to apply for medicare. I planned to apply in person but now the Social Security office is closed. I am a naturalized citizen so I do not have a birth certificate. I am not sure if the online application process will be smooth for people like me.

I think the next option for me is to call on their helpline, and apply on the phone. Anyone who is a naturalized citizen with experience either applying online or on the phone?

We did it on the internet at Medicare.gov. They mailed us the card.

You can apply online. You have naturalization papers that prove your date of birth. Applying on line is very easy and straight forward.
