colonoscopy prep

I had one of these last year. I was way overdue. Not eating nuts and such were in my instructions as well. They didn't find anything and told me to come back in 10 years. I had pretty bad gas cramps the rest of the day though... not my favorite experience.

My gastroenterologist told me they are no longer using gas. Yay.



I still feel a little bit sluggish 18 hours later.



I have to do it again in 5 years, but my doctor said that by then, a colonoscopy may not be necessary. I hope so.


My report said I did an "excellent" prep.
