Renault Zoe has been selling EVs in Europe for years. Nissan had the Leaf, the Renault half of the partnership went with the Zoe.

The Zoe starts at about thirty-seven thousand Euros. I believe that is about ten thousand Euros less than the starting point for the Model 3.

The price of the Renault Zoe continues to decline (along with other EV's) as it follows the battery cost curve declines with higher volume manufacturing. It's now available for as little as 29K Euros in Europe before incentives. However, the battery is pretty small which only allows for about 200-215 mile range in real world conditions. It also has an air cooled battery which doesn't allow the highest charge speeds or performance. But it's a practical little car for typical day use and continues to sell well.

It might not be the best EV out there but it easily competes with most small gasoline cars.
