Fitness Activities In Early Retirement

Walking 5-7 days a week, yoga twice a week and stationary bike for days I don’t walk. I get between 8-10k steps a day.
 
We watch our VO2 max, a measure of cardio fitness, and try to keep it in the high range for our age. You need activities that elevate your heart rate for steady periods in order to see progress.
I'm in agreement on VO2 max. It influenced my asymptomatic AFIB decision on ablation (20% drop over 18 months). Ablation done in December and VO2 max is back up 15%.
