Make sure you get your money in and out of the exchange as fast as possible. Bitcoin exchanges are not stable, and there have been fraudulent players, and major botches.

Example: MtGox was the biggest exchange at one point - MtGox stands for Magic The Gathering Online Exchange. Yes, the trading card game. It completely collapsed taking much money with them.

Watching one of the financial channels today, I saw something I'd never seen before. On the scroll it says, Currencies > USD/BITCOIN(BTC)...

It was listed before any other currency.

Bitcoin has arrived.
