It's Wednesday weigh ins! 2007-2022

The good thing about this thread is that it has kept me accountable . As long as I weigh in every week I will not gain weight . It's when I ignore my weight that it tends to creep up . I have hit a plateau but that's okay as I am happy here just need to reshape my body a little . I was this weight in college but somehow the same weight as a senior citizen translates differently .

The relatively easy weight loss I was enjoying has tapered off to nil, and I'm bouncing around from 265 - 267 on my daily weigh-ins. If I'm being honest with myself, my carb consumption has been creeping back up, so I really shouldn't be surprised.

"Wait, you mean weight loss is hard work, and involves sacrifice?!? Phooey!"
 
One of these days I'm going to get back on my program. Got to make up my mind to cut down on my med's first. Otherwise, I'm just wasting my time. I did weigh this morning and I'm not too far off my goal of 175. Still stuck in the 182 area.

After another 3 weeks of travel and visitors I'm pleased to have maintained my weight. Only another 12 days before we head back to Texas, and a more regular eating pattern.

5'4" Target range 116 - 121#

I'm baaaaaaaaack! Well a 4# gain is what you get after major surgery, sitting around and still not allowed to exercise, and eating every last bit of all the yummy, bad food my friends are bringing to us on a daily basis. Good grief! The food deliveries will continue until Friday, but after that I will try to stop eating chocolate cake, carrot cake, mac & cheese, etc., etc. with wild abandon. :LOL:

Good to have you back. I agree, you need to quit eating all that yummy stuff with wild abandon. I'd throttle it back to semi-civilized abandon. Anyway, you deserve to be treated well. A few pounds in the grand scheme of things is nothing.
 
I'm hovering close to where I was a couple of weeks ago--today is 163.
We've had lots of excuses to drink beer lately, so I haven't really expected to lose any weight. But I need to work on that whole "moderation thing". You'd think I'd have some practice, as a moderator, but no.

Winter weight may be creeping in. And I'm probably as low as I'll get. Spent the 1970's and 1980's around 180-183 when I was in better shape.

Finally hit 168, a 30 pound loss from my all time high of 198 a little over 1.5 years ago.

The goal is 160, so it's in sight. I'm hoping to get there early in 2012.

I am still hovering one pound above my goal . Of course I was traveling last week so that did not help .

In range already. I won't believe it until I maintain it for a week or 2, when we relax a bit and stabilize, as it has only been a week since we got back.
