Pardon me, Khan, but I think you must have lost your senses. I can see this ending badly. I fear that this gentleman will squander your hard earned assets and leave you with nothing. For God 's sake (and your own) please get out of this situation while you still can.

Certainly higher risk, unless the other person is unquestionably trustworthy.

I get why two people who are struggling to make ends meet on their own might do this. I don't get why someone who has said in the past that she has trouble spending down her money would take this risk. An employee-employer (caregiver) relationship makes more sense to me, even if it is higher cost. A pre-nup does nothing to protect from a spouse or anyone who has access to accounts. But Khan hasn't been very forthcoming with details, which is certainly her prerogative, so maybe there's more to it.
