Medicare - giving g'ment credit when credit due

I was getting worried about Medicare signup in spring. I am receiving SS so understood Medicare signup would be automatic, but was still worried. Lo and behold, I received notice that I am automatically signed up effective 4/1 for Parts A and B and if I didn't want B, to fill out the forms, get them notarized, and send back to them.

Now for the Supplement and Part D...easy peasy .

Yes, I just got this in mail yesterday as well. I go on Medicare 4/1.

Signing up for both Medicare and SS went well for me also. No problems. I did make sure when I signed up for SS that I used the proper terminology and stated exactly what I wanted to do. It always helps to be perfectly clear.
