(Yeah, I know... a stuck record.) A used Class B RV should be within your means (depending upon how used) and would let you you be free as a bird... not even worrying about dragging a trailer around.

But, of course. The more the merrier... "they" say. However, let me remind of my usual caution; the smaller the RV the more a good relationship plays a role. Actually, if "seeing the USA" is the goal, tight-quarters, at the end of the day, is not a serious consideration.
