plywood types

not a roof question...but, what is thin plywood used for?

place next door is installing LVP flooring...saw the installer carrying in 4x8 sheets, but thin.

floor leveling for the LVP?

it is underlayment. You do all your grading work, leveling the floor as needed, and then go over it with underlayment nailed on schedule. It makes for a really good product.

Right! Create a defect free base by covering any imperfections. Also, it encapsulates problems like sheet flooring with asbestos content. Ripping that up could cause problems.
