Preferred Securities

I am considering selling my PFORX..I know little to nothing about preferred securities..On a scale of 1 - 10 what says you about the risk of PFORX and PFF?

In my view, PFORX is a 1.5 out of 10 on risk, with 10 being high risk and 1 being almost the same as cash. PFF is maybe a 2. My risk appetite is likely higher than yours.

I'm confused. This is "PIMCO International Bond Fund (U.S. Dollar-Hedged) Institutional Class (PFORX)". What does this have to do with Preferred Securities? I didn't dig too deep but the top holdings appear to be bonds.
