Something new (to me), Ford is piloting a shared auto leasing program in Austin. Leasing your own Zip Car?

Ford said the pilot program, Ford Credit Link Pilot Leasing Program, will offer 24-month leases that let three to six people lease the same vehicle. The co-lessees will be able to reserve that vehicle, check or handle maintenance and share payments through a specialized mobile app.
