I would say like to say, Thank You Veterans! We are very fortunate to be Americans and much of that credit goes to all military people.

Thank you, Street. It was my pleasure to serve. I feel that I got much more out of my service in the Navy than I ever contributed. It was a life changing experience and set me firmly on the path to where I am today.

Well, for me would of been a very hard thing to do. I would of served if I was drafted and had to but I don't think I would of had it in me to take that leap. My whole family was in military so I know the commitment it was and the things they missed and the not so easy times being so far away. God Bless to all of you that have served, so much to be thankful for all who served!

Thanks to all who served. I didn't. I had thoughts about joining the Marines until my dad found out. He was a Navy vet and didn't want me to be a marine. He wanted me to join the Navy, but I didn't. I wish I would have at times.

Thanks so much for the kind words Street. They mean quite a bit to me.

Thanks Street.
USN 1976 -1979
Supported USN Aviation in flight test 1980 - 2020.

Adding my gratitude to all of our Veterans. The sacrifices you and your families make/made are beyond mere words of thanks.
Blessings to all of you.

Thank you to all Veterans who served our country. Although I didn't serve, my dad was in the army when he immigrated to the US (from Europe) and he was very proud of his service, as was all of our family.
Thanks Street for starting this thread and reminding us to thank those here who served.

Sincerest thanks to all the veterans. Your sacrifice keeps us free.

I'm honored to know you fine gentlemen and ladies.

It was an honor for me to have served as a young buck, and I appreciate and thank all veterans and those who are continuing to do so in an active capacity.

Happy Veterans Day to all Americans.
The honor was mine to serve.

My thanks, also. I served 4+ years active duty Army. DH is retired Army, son a Marine and daughter a West Point grad, combat vet and Bronze Star recipient.

The GI bill paid for my college, Army training provided a career for life, met DH in a mess hall and all three kids born at Army hospitals for a total out of pocket cost for all $33.00.

Yup…I served; but the Army worked for me!

Nearly a quarter century wearing an Air Force uniform. Some of the best years of my life.

On behalf of all the vets here, I'll return the thanks because without the support of the citizens we couldn't have much of a military.

Talked to dad today and wished him a happy Veteran's day. He was in France and Germany from 1952-54.

I also want to thank all other veterans and their families. :flowers:

My son is the 4th generation to go Army, and is at FT Benning at present. Grandad was in WW1 and dad was in Korea. I appreciate support and thanks for all those who served.....Freedom is not Free!
