I would venture to guess most single females are there by virtue of a spouse passing on and quite frankly they don't want to leave what they know and are comfortable with the surroundings. Maybe not looking so much for a partner but just someone to do activities with.

I think we should have contest to promote the Villages by coming up with a catchy Ad phrase, something along the lines of:

But why would there be a black market in Viagra? I doubt it's hard to get an Rx, and then go to the drugstore. Black markets arise in only conditions of scarcity.

Well that could very well be the problem. If I was single and living there, I may be tempted to throw away the clubs and take advantage of the opportunity provided by others busy playing golf all day.

Viagra came off patent in Europe in 2013. Maybe the black market is in generic sildenafil coming from Europe.

Generics swoop as Viagra patent expires

Generic viagra has been about $1 a pill in Southeast Asia for a long time. And now that the patent has expired outside of the USA it is sold legitimately over the counter for about that price.

I have a Canadian friend who lives half-time in Southeast Asia and he pays his Canadian handyman with generic Viagra.
