turbo tax question

I was just doing my taxes, finishing up. Then the section about estimating taxes for TY 2018 and calculating estimated payments to make.

Turbo Tax doesn't give you guidance on tax changes effective with 2018 so you have to kind of make adjustments on your own.

For instance, you can't put in the same SALT deductions you had in 2017 for 2018. By that comparison, my taxes will go up quite a bit this year.

What's tricky is estimating medical expenses. Turbo Tax includes your insurance premiums in the total amount in this estimated tax system, even though they're not deductible. The deductible portions, like the money out of pocket that you pay for health care which the insurance doesn't cover, isn't set out separately.
